Danny and Pam continue to train, teach, compete and raise their winning Quarter Horses.
2008 saw horses move in and out of their facility. Congratulations to Dean Dingwall on his purchase of 2 two year olds, Jenny Cloarec on her purchase of a yearling "Wally" filly and Tom Ostero who acquired a fantastic '08 "Oakie" filly. A yearling stallion, "This Kids A Whiz" by BL Whiz Kid, found a new home with the Morrison's with the hopes of his becoming a successful show horse and thereby earning his position of producing champions out of future proven mares of "Oakie and Wally".
2008 travels included their annual sojourn to Oklahoma City for the National Reining Horse Futurity. This was a very special trip as it offered them a great learning opportunity as well as an early preview of industry products.
The '08 show season saw Danny and Pam successfully compete in seven AQHA and four NRHA approved shows with their stallions; Peppys Oak Chex (Oakie) and MQH Haida Que Bar (Wally). In August both competed in the PGRHA NRHA approved Three Year Old Futurity, riding All Reddy Dynamite and Dellas Blazen Oakie by Peppys Oak Chex, placing 1st and 3rd respectively. This Futurity made these two youngsters NRHA money earnings at the ripe old age of three!
Eight year old mare "MQH Bay Be Que" earned her retirement to their broodmare band and is expecting her first "Oakie" baby this spring! All mares currently in their broodmare band have been proven and are the producers of the quality horses that Danny and Pam successfully compete on.
2009 is shaping up to be another very busy year with numerous weekend working cow horse and reining clinics scheduled for Northern B.C.. If you are interested in having Danny riding your furutre champion or you are looking to invest in one of their proven blood line youngsters, call or email them at your leisure.
